Russ
Here is my Russian homework for today
SENTENCES FOR TRANSLATION
My daughter talked on the phone all evening, but I watched TV
for 2 hours. My husband was in Moscow, where he saw how
workers built (finished building) a library in two weeks. I
told him that he used to like me for a long time, but he does
not anymore. He did not think I was alone. But on Saturday
night he is going to write an essay and he is not going to
rest up. But Vanya will call the director in an hour and will
tell him that they have been drinking at work. On Monday she
finally resolved to close the window, but all of a sudden the
phone rang. For the first time Katya saw him in April in
Odessa, then in June in Novgorod, and then she understood
(grasped the idea) that he gave the books to a teacher. What
time is it now? It is 8:30. No, what are you saying?! It is
5:45. But in Russia they do not say 5:45, they say 17:45.
Is it just me or does this read like an
Art Film.
