running
Finally did it! Ran from Bishan to City Hall (and a number of other locations around that area) with Ja! Rocks haha..yesterday, my estimated time of arrival ETA was 11am, assuming set off time at 6am. Well today we realised how small and well-roaded Singapore truly is.
6: sets off
7: reach KK hospital and get orange juice at Macs
7.30: run run
8: am rudely shocked to discover self suddenly in Little India, nearing Bugis. Suspect time warp
8.30: Look around Parkview building in Bugis, lovely place, and look at DHL building which by the way costs $23 per person to ride
8.45: Have a sandwich and drink at Suntec and Marina Square
9: take the suntec and citylink route to the Esplanade
9.10: Wander around esplanade, to Ritz Carlton, to Millenia Walk and to Fullerton
9.45: We had gone in circles looking for Maxwell market and the red dot building where this really cool exhibition of original Sporean creative works was held
10.10: Run down Boat Quay past Fullerton area, don't turn into it, but runs past left direction into Raffles City area
10.15: Running around Raffles City, Clifford Pier area
10.30: Reach Lau pa Sat, then head to Maxwell market for soursop drink
10.55: Reach Red Dot building, near URA building to look at exhibition
11.30: Take mrt home
This has taught me many things, one: try what you think is near impossible or very hard two: infrastructure is very important three: It's all about the right route
Anyone want to join me next Sunday/Saturday? I love this route
