    Musical is over

Musical is over. It was great great fun on the last night of concert. Everyone was so happy and excited it was just amazing to be in the orchestra pit and the energy was fabulous. Some of the actors changed their lines (bloody monkey) (pig's brain soup) (Ricky Martinez) and we placed bets on how the lead would sing and cheered him when it went well...sitting near the back up singers was hilarious. Drama kings singing in falsetto, people allegedly feeling each other up between songs and laughing loudly a LOT.

We passed a lot of food around the orchestra and everyone had practically memorised the whole musical so we were looking at each other and mouthing the lines before they came out and spotting mistakes haha..and the saxophone was AMAZING!!all the crazy improvisation and the totally sleazy glitz, makes you want to run and become his disciple. something different in every performance.

Tried someone's glasses and think maybe I should try more rectangular frames next, maybe black or red-ish or darker at any rate. :)was fun squinting at people in old person fashion and having them ask me if i'd gone blind. Cello's last ditch attempt at section solo we played out, way louder, even Z applauded w violin haha his tremolo was really funny, moved the violin instead of the bow. even managed to look over at various sections to laugh at glitches, like e french horns, which was really strange. took heaps of pictures... I think i will miss it slightly. I liked being in the pit, it felt like family and it was cosy. And the way the audience peers into the pit like we're some kind of zoo animals in an enclosure haha. Loved the jazz pieces, you really get to move along to the music and for once, you feel like everyone is having fun together, and that is a wonderful thing to have.

    :)
